Thanksgiving was a blast in Douglas. We all headed down to the southeast corner of Arizona for a family reunion at Nick's maternal grandparents' house. The Thanksgiving dinner was huge, with two full turkeys and all the fixings.

The day after Thanksgiving we all went to our family's favorite Mexican food restaurant across the border in Agua Prieta - the Cafe Yolanda. The other fun family activities included Christmas shopping by the women while the men went out to the desert and shot their guns. What's a good family holiday without firepower?! Man, we sound like a bunch of hicks. Owen shot the .22 and got to help set up the bottles between rounds.

Nick has greatly enjoyed serving as an Assistant Advisor to the Deacons Quorum in our ward here in Higley. He loves the kids he gets to hang out with and go camping with occasionally. Here is a picture of a few of the boys getting ready to leave for a campout near Payson.
Just one day after our trip to San Francisco, Nick's sister Angela was married to Gary Tenney in the Mesa temple. Both the wedding and the reception were beautiful, and lots of family from both sides were present. We all had a great time. Owen was especially grateful to see his Grandma Carol.
