(This update is for you Shelly!)
Happy Birthday Owen!!!

Owen turned the big SEVEN this last month and requested a GI-JOE party. We decided to have a fun family party this year. So, of course, the first Sunday after telling Owen that he goes to primary and says to his class, "My birthday is coming and my mom said that none of you are invited!" Nice.
Owen could hardly wait for the day to begin so we decided that he could open two presents before Nick went to work.
Corbin was shocked when we said that he got a present too! Star Wars shirts, sorry Jaren they didn't have your size.

We got some army things to celebrate.

Owen decided he wanted a tank cake. It was quite a challenge making it in here (in Puerto Rico) everything kept melting and our kitchen AC hadn't been fixed yet. (Not to worry, it is all better now and we are loving it!)

I let Owen pick out where the candles went. I love the one in the cannon!

Owen loves legos, I am talking LOVES them. He was so excited to get four sets for his birthday. I love how excited he and Corbin look in this picture opening the Indiana Jones set.

We let Owen stay up and put some of the airplane together with Nick. In the morning he finished putting it together all by himself. We were really impressed!

Happy Birthday, Owen! We love you so much!

Awesome b-day cake! You are so tallented. I can't decide what to do for Noah's cake crawl! You should send me a close-up pics of the cake, Mason thought it was really cool too! I didn't even need to tell him, he pointed and said "bird-day cake!" funny kid.
I LOVE Owen announcing to his class they weren't invited! Awesome! :) Your kids are hilarious!
Happy 7th birthday!!!!
Love the cake! You should be a cake decorator when you "grow up" and work at a bakery :) You'd be so cute in a little hair net! lol :) You really are talented! The legos look like a ton of fun! I wish you guys still lived close! We miss you! Happy Birthday Owen!
oops I posted under Craig's name. That last comment was me - Holly!
Maddy, your cakes always look amazing. Ethan wants a star wars cake this year... I'll have to go back and take a look at the cake you made last year!
Mason is saying please mom, please mom! please mom! play the movie! He thinks all the pics on blogs are movies and wants me to play a movie of Corbin and Owen.
(You still need to publish the clip of Corbin and Owen break-dancing! seriously! you could make lots of money off of that!) :) So per Mason's request... please put a movie on your next post! ha! :)
PS- I need help on making a cake for Mason he wants a school bus or a dinosaur cake... any ideas? (Now he's saying a dinosaur IN the school bus! ha!)
sorry this is so long!
I never had a "war-tank" cake, jaja, I wish colombian b-day parties were that creative!
I also loved legos, somehow I couldnt build them by myself, your son must be a really inteligent kid! (maybe I should make my complexity requests for him, jeje, just kidding...)
Nick, congrats for your cool family and thanks for sharing!
Maddy, I LOVE your cakes! You are so creative!! I may steal some of your ideas one of these days.
