Nick told me he can tell I am pregnant and not feeling 100% because of the lack of pictures I have taken. So here is a random update from the past month.
The boys got invited to a Thanksgiving race at Ft. Buchanan. They had a great time - even though they didn't win first.
Some of my friends had a New Moon party before it came out, they did a wonderful job decorating. We had treats and watched Twilight. It was a super fun girls night out!!
A friend took me Christmas shopping on base. While I browsed around checking prices and making notes, the kids found their own entertainment!
For Science class in November, Owen and Corbin each made their own volcanoes - complete with villages and people running in panic (not sure where they got that?!). The boys were so excited to build them, and were even more excited to see that they actually worked!
Corbin found my glasses (yes they are broken and that is a straw taped to the side to keep them together). He is showing us his laser vision. Watch out!
Because of the abundance of rain and humidity here, the sidewalks here get really nasty with black mold. Last week Nick borrowed the Mortenson's pressure washer and did a full cleaning of the concrete around our house. During the process, Nick called me out to see something and then made me close my eyes. Who knew that moldy sidewalks could be so romantic! Isn't he sweet! (Isn't the difference amazing?)
What? Is there something on my face?
The other night Corbin was scared, so Owen invited him into bed with him, being the caring older brother he is. We checked on them later and found Owen's head suspended above the ground by the blanket. Goofy, eh?
FYI - Some people have asked and. . . we have decided to wait to find out the sex of the baby. We figured that since this is our last, we might as well make it fun.

I love all the photos! your boys are getting so big and yeah nasty black mold!
we waited with Nixon and it was so much fun! Even if it is a girl you have enough infant stuff that can be generic until all the pink stuff arrives!
Nick is sweet! How exciting to find out the sex of your baby at birth! It'll work out great, especially the name because you'll get to feel for a name once you see him/her! How are you feeling pregnancy-wise? The boys are getting older! :)
I'm sending you girl vibes!! And that black mold is really really disgusting and sooo weird?! Congrats again!
Holy cow, all that was mold??!! That WAS very sweet though!!
Hahaha. Love your husband's romantic side! I think you're crazy to wait! Ha...okay so really I just don't think I could ever have the patience. I'm the one who pays someone else at 15-16 weeks! I can never wait!!!!
Congrats!! I am excited to hear you are expecting again! I hope you feel 100% soon!
congrats! And I loveee the mold pic. Got to make tropical living fun! :)
Maddy,
I love your updates! Cute power washing initials. I love it.
It's exciting that you're waiting to see if it's a girl or boy. How fun.
Also, I want to send you a Christmas card. What's your address? How many stamps does it take?
OK! 2 words... Mold = DISGUSTING!!!! (but cute!) My fav is when I was reading your blog out loud to Ron and read "Because of the ambulance of rain... ambulance of rain?!?!? What does that mean?" Ha! Ha! Ron was accross the room and said "you mean abundance?" I am such a goof sometimes! hilarious!
Jaren is soooooooo big! Crazy! His hair looks different then your other boys! Super cute pic with all the food! :)
I love your pictures--we all miss pictures when you are sick. Hope you are starting to get better--at least feeling better should be right around the corner, right? I love the comments from your boys on the right. The Adam comment made me laugh out loud!
What a cute family - they just make me laugh. Glad you are feel a bit better. You are doing such a great job of school with these boys - what were the volcanos made out of?
