Ella's party - Mother Daughter Retreat - Mothers day - and more. . .

I am playing catchup again! I feel like I can never say ahead! So this is my second post tonight and it is a BUNCH of random mixed with fun things we have been doing!
We are starting our post with our goofy Corbin.
Ella's Blessing Party!
Here is the girl of the hour. We had a little party to celebrate Ella's blessing the Wednesday after she was blessed. I think she was disappointed that her mommy and daddy didn't let her have any of her princess cake!
All the cousins had a great time playing together and being silly!
Uncle Nathan was the biggest Kidd out there and had fun making up games and changing the rules on the spot!
I think Jaren has a thing for washers and dryers. Aunt Shelly's washer was super fun, cuz it moved unexpectedly!

Jaren's first piano lesson!
Look how focused he is on getting his hands in the correct position! Grandma was so proud.
We got to go see four of Corinne's (my sister) kids preform in her recital.
They did a great job!
Being Silly!
The boys love turning anything in to a star wars ship.
Corbin loves free rides!
Jaren loves climbing into anything, more often than not getting out is more tricky.
He looks like he doesn't have any feet!
Mother Daughter Retreat
We had a great time for two whole days kid free! (THANK YOU, Winwards for taking the boys!)
We started the weekend off with going to the local gym and working out. We did the treadmill and swam. I have no upper body strength, so by the end of our laps I was on my back just kicking.
We went to dinner that night at Claim Jumper. We invited my Dad (who also paid for it - Thanks Dad!) After dinner he gave us each a book and chocolates and said some really sweet things. What a wonderful Dad I have!
My parents and me.
Just being silly.

The next day we had lunch at Red Lobster and did a white elephant exchange. It was really fun! We also gave my mom her Girls Retreat/Mothers day gift!
Mother's Day
I had a wonderful day! The boys were really sweet.
At Winward's they got me a balloon and a new wallet. In the wallet was 2 5 dollar bills that they had earned doing yard work.
At my parents house they each gave me a card. Jaren was really impressed with his card that had monkeys all over it.
Owen made me a neckalace/photo frame at school along with a cute card with a butterfly hand print. I am so grateful for my boys (which are ALL boy - Owen had to have the toy knife in the picture to show everyone - and no he wasn't about to stab anyone)!
I sure love being a mom!

I recognized that park!
It's near my house, we go there a lot.
Do you live nearby?

You guys looked like you had a good time.
We'd love to see you before you leave.
