The Ostrich Farm

My Mom took us to the Ostrich farm one Saturday in April. The boys loved it!
When you go in they give you a big cup of feed and 2 small cups of nectar.
First we fed the deer.
If you look real close Jaren has a piece of deer food in his hand just out of reach from the deer. About 2 minutes after that picture was taken he took his binki out and tried to put the deer food in his mouth. Yum!
The ostrich feeding was next.
We are happy to announce that none of us got bitten!
Third, we fed the donkeys. Jaren got right up to them.
Notice Jaren's foot, trying to get in the fence and the smart little donkey making a run for it!
Last and my most favorite (Owen's too) was feeding the Lory-keets.
Corbin was even brave enough to feed a bird and took it very seriously.
I was just holding Jaren with nectar in my out stretched hand and one of the birds landed on my sunglasses. Jaren had no idea that there was a bird right behind him.
I love Jaren's facial expression. And, no he didn't grab the bird. He was just REALLY excited!
The boys had a really great time. Owen kept asking for more and more nectar, and as we were leaving asked if we could go their again tomorrow.
Jaren was out within minutes!
Thanks Grandma!
