Saying Hello and Goodbye!

I was beginning to wonder if our whole family would ever make it Puerto Rico, but we are finally here~

The flights with the three boys and myself went really good. From start to finish it was about 10 hours. Jaren of course only slept about 30 minutes on the first flight, but he was happy and only squawked when I didn't get him something right when he wanted it. The boys were very helpful getting things on and off the airplanes and did a good job of staying close to me.

The Puerto Rico airport is set up so that friends and family cannot come into the airport at all, not even to the baggage claim. The boys were so excited to see Nick (even if it was only through the window). I sent Corbin through the door with Jaren in the stroller to Nick. Owen was my little helper at the baggage carousel, he would take one bag at a time to Nick who was standing in the door way.

Nick took this picture through the glass! (Notice Jaren's pants, or lack there of! He totally soaked his onsie, pants, and carseat on the second flight. Luckily, I had a spare onsie. Next time I will have a back up pair of pants too!)

We have been working like crazy to get our home set up and organized, so we haven't taken any exotic trips yet. Here is our Family Night activity in our backyard.
Jaren loves our new quad!
Nick was in Puerto Rico for our anniversay and sent me these beautiful flowers!
Saying Goodbye. . .
Owen had his last day of school the day before we flew to Puerto Rico. My mom and I came and helped run centers for their end of the year party. (She is in the back left corner of the room.)
Owen and his teacher.
Goodbye party with the cousins! The boys are going to miss being around so much family!
We had a surprise party for my Dad. Complete with his favorite german chocolate cake.
All the kids and my Mom chipped in to get my Dad the laptop he has always wanted!
Happy Birthday, Dad! We love you!!!!
The boys had fun hanging out with Uncle Nathan. One day I told the boys we were watching Ella (Nathan's little girl). They got really excited and asked if we were babysitting Uncle Nathan too?! He is just too fun!
Jaren loves getting into small spaces.
Jaren's molars are finally all the way in and now he is able to eat things in bigger portions! He loves banannas!
We really enjoyed our time in Arizona and loved being around family. We are so grateful for all the playdates, babysitting, and car sharing from everyone!

We are looking forward to our next adventure here in Pureto Rico.
And hope to see some of you soon~

Good job making it there safely. My sister went to Germany with three little kids too a couple of years ago. We were all worried for you.

Ok, I'm way behind on blogging--I haven't even been checking in on you. But now I'm caught up on you. Your boys crack me up! And it looks and sounds like things are good in Puerto Rico. I'm still in AZ, but things are good here. I'm using my juno account for email--do you remember that address? I'll send you an email soon when I get even more caught up.
