Family Visit, Telescope, Splash Pad and more. . .

Carol and some of her family came for a quick visit! We met them in Old San Juan for dinner. It was so nice to see everyone and catch up! We miss having family close by. (We do have a nice spare bedroom for anyone who wants to visit!!!)
When we lived in Provo Owen and Grandma Carol we good buddies!
It was a late night for the boys!
This week we had our first tropical storm and hurricane scares of the season. We were blessed to have both of them avoid hitting our island. We did have a ton of rain Monday morning, but that was all!
Last Saturday we went to the largest telescope in the world with some friends.
The Owen and Corbin with Heather and Aly on the way up to the top.
The family.

The Cahoons and us.
Because we had Jaren we got a ride down! Lucky us!
Nick and I got to go on a date! We went to a restaurant in San Juan at the Hilton and then walked on the beach and sat a talked. It was fun to slow down and enjoy each other!
Nick had to take a phone call so I had fun writing the boys names in the sand. They were really impressed!

Our AC in our kitchen has been broken for about a month. I often find one or more of the boys hanging out in front of the fan!
Riding in style! Jaren's not too happy about the extra passengers!
Our boys love dancing and lip syncing. Nick was teaching Jaren how to do an Elvis impression. I will try to post the video soon. It was really funny!
Corbin being cute.
Some friends invited us to a Splash Pad on base. It was really fun and both boys ended up going down the slides at least once.

For almost a whole week we had a little visitor at our back door. It was a really cute baby iguana, I did wonder where it's mommy was.
The boys loved it. We were sad when one morning it was gone.
All smiles!
My Mom, Grandma, and baby sister sent me a package. Complete with a gift for everyone and PEANUT BUTTER OREOS (for me)!!! There are certain things that you aren't able to get here that I have really missed.
Coming soon Jaren's video (if I can get the computer to be nice and upload it) and Owen's birthday!

What a fun adventure to live in another country. You make is sound so exciting and easy, but I bet it is hard. Like the no peanut butter oreo thing.

Jaren is SO big! I love the picture of all 3 boys asleep in the car. That's when you know it's been a long (but good) day :)

Loved the pictures and I'm so glad Carol came! How are the hurricanes there? You should write about them. And I can't believe you named the iguana Ingrid- I think that's an ugly name. If the boys named it, then I think it's a beautiful name :)

I can tell that Owen is smiling in the picture with the other boys sleeping- was he faking or really sleeping? Randy and I looked online today for PR flights from here- we'd love to come back for a weekend! I'm so happy to hear you and Nick had a date- isn't it refreshing?
