The boys love going swimming. We went swimming with friends everyday of the week before they left for vacation. The boys are getting more and more comfortable and being brave trying new things.
We love this picture cuz it totally looks like Owen is arresting Jaren for unlawful use of a marker. Luckily it was washable, no harm done!
This fourth of July was really fun for the boys. We had a picnic with some friends and then did some fun fireworks.
We had FHE at Burger King. The boys enjoyed their shakes and Jaren loved getting bites from everyone.
Summer school. . .Owen and Corbin have been doing summer school with their teacher, Miss Maddy (yes, that would be me!) I think their favorite part is show and tell!
(most of the time) The weather here has been fun because of all the rapid changes. This day (taken from our backyard) it was crazy half the sky was perfect - blue with some clouds - and the other half was totally dark and gray.
Nick shaved the boys head and just for fun we let them have a mohawk for a couple days. We got the strangest looks when we would go places.
Jaren has been learning all kinds of new things. One of my favorites is that he has been folding his arms. It is so fun to sneak a peak during family prayer and see Jaren trying to follow the example of his big brothers.
One of my favorite toys when I was younger was the Lite Brite. I think this is the third one I have owned since we got married. The boys have really enjoyed it too especially since we got the transformer papers!
One of the boys most favorite thing to do with Nick is bed time stories. This night I wanted Nick to finish putting together my treadmill so they got story time in the kitchen.
Jaren LOVES cars. It is amazing how fascinated he is with them. A friend of ours lent us their toy car (and their real one - we have been having car issues) while they are out of town. Jaren loves riding around in it and gets really upset when one of his brothers takes a turn. It has actually been really good for teaching him patience and turn taking!
Jaren has had at LEAST one bruise on his forhead since we moved here. This one he got from taking a spill out side on the side walk. He also got a good sized scab on his nose. The next afternoon he ran into the door frame and got a smaller bruise on the other side! Poor guy!
Brotherly love. . .Owen thought he has spiders in his bed and asked if he could sleep with Corbin.
Aren't they cute?
Aren't they cute?
I borrowed one of the boys Cars pillow cases and before bed time and nap time Jaren would run to my bed and lay on my car pillow and say, "Car, Car". I decided to make him a Cars pillow for his bed. I wish we got his reaction on tape. He was so excited, it totally made my day!
Hanging out. . .My boys!

the half sky picture is really cool - and it looks like owen really has his "gangster pose" down. :)
You guys seem to be having so much fun there! I love that your kids are into Cars, Transformers and all the other cool movies (Star Wars). That is so much fun!
The mohawks were great!! You guys sure are keeping busy!! :)
Oh my goodness...that bonk on Jaren's head...OUCH! It resembles many of Joah's bonks! Poor baby!
First of all, I LOVE the mohawks- you guys are amazing parents for letting your kids have that! I think all kids should play with their hairstyles while young. Lord knows I don't want to mess it up now. Secondly, Poor Jaren! haha he does run into everything. Thirdly, I love the pictures of all your boys- that's what life is about. :)
You guys are always doing something fun. Good for you in doing summer school with the boys. Do they call you "miss maddie"? Too funny!!!
how fun! that is one big bump on the head! I love the foehawks. So when they turn 16 shave it in to a real mohawk and dye it bright blue and green, they can just say but Mom remember!!!
Our favorite is "The Arrest", how do you manage to keep up with your four feisty guys?
Well sounds like you have been busy! I admire that you have been doing summer school - I bought all these workbooks to work on this summer and we haven't even done ONE PAGE! Ack! Love the "arrest". At least the marker prbably did need to be taken away, we are constantly battling the "who is the parent" problem at our house.
Ha! i love Owen and the massive goggles! Looks like you are having lots of fun! take care!
i love the arrested picture! It had me laughing!! and the mohawks are GREAT!! I need to look for a lite brite. those things were the best growing up! I'm so glad you guys are doing well, I miss you!
Your boys are so cute! Love the mohawks... although I think they are too sweet to really pull them off! :) What a fun adventure to be having!
I think I've said this before, but your backyard looks beautiful! It makes me want to come visit before you get transferred somewhere. I just don't know if that's feasible for us. Looks like you guys are having fun. And congrats for being the teacher--I bet the boys love it. (Sorry about Jaren's head--that looks sore.)
Wow, what great pictures and how busy you have been making memories. Looks like fun! We just found a lite bright at Goodwill and my 3 year old Loves it. Classic! I want to come to your Summer School too!
