Our little nerd - or smarty pants!

We had some friends over for a playdate. All the shoes ended up lined at the door, and I thought it was really cute, so I took a picture. (The left side is our boys and the right is the friends.)

Elie was such a little mommy and took good care of her little sister while they were here!
It was fun having girls in the house.

Jaren loved being in the hammock with Luke.
Corbin thinks it is awesome that his best friend is named after Luke Skywalker!
(Although I'm not sure if his parents had that in mind when they named him)

We had another little friend come visit us the other night. I thought he was really cute and wanted to keep him, but we let him go outside. He was not easy to catch - very small and a great jumper.

We attended the baptism of one of our friends' in the ocean. This is just down the street from our neighborhood. It's a beautiful spot. It was sprinkling just enough that we were the only ones on the beach. We did the baptism and then went to their home for the confirmation.

The boys were really excited that we got to be there.

We had enrichment this past week. They did an exchange and I scored a really cute monkey suit that Jaren can use for Halloween. So now we are totally ready for October 31, which is
just too far away - according to Corbin. Owen and Corbin are excited to be GI-Joe characters.

On Labor Day, a large number of families from the ward went to the beach near Dorado. There are some beautiful beaches there, and we were lucky enough to find a small, secluded one that was almost completely empty. It was beautiful, and we had a great time. Here are some photos.

Doesn't Corbin look great!

Jaren is always super happy to be at the beach, UNTIL. . .

...we take him close to the water. He screams his little head off and claws to get back to the safety of the beach chairs and shade. Doesn't he realize we live on an island?

Poor guy!

But now he is happy!

The boys got to boogie board and Nick was able to do some snorkeling.

The area we went to is called Horseshoe Beach, a very appropriate name.

Here is a picture from each side.

Jaren's first time with Cheetos. Hello!

I love the photos of the baptism, it would be cool to see! I love all the photos of your kids! they are growing so fast!
Wow! Beach baptisms are awesome. I wish Carter could do that next year.
Wow, that is sooo neat. Is that how they do all the baptisms? Will your boys get to do that too? So cool. I bet you will have so many visitors living there - probably see more people than you would living anywhere else. Speaking of.. can I come visit? hehe
I love hearing how you guys are doing. I really need to come and visit. My husband wants to get certified diving and it would be perfect to come and visit and play in the water. It would be nice to see where you live. Someday!!! Hopefully soon!
Your kids are the cutest! i'm so glad your family is having a great time and so many wonderful experiences!
As far as baptism's they give you the choice of at the church or at the beach. If we are still living here next year, we would probably do Owen's in the ocean. And Abi and Suzette we love visitors! We have a very nice guest room with AC so come on over!
Did Jaren like the cheetos? How cool to get baptized in the beach! Randy and I should come out there for Owen's baptism- it'd be fun to see Nick dunk him in the ocean. haha. Looking forward to seeing the kids costumes here on your blog during halloween. Plus, you're looking good, Maddy!
Super fun! I LOVE it! The beach is the best. We are thinking of putting San Diego as #3 choice to go for the FBI?!?! We'll see. Anyways! I love the monkey costume! I think Halloween is my FAV! Seriously, I plan for months what my boys will be! Tahnks to you, Noah's going to be a dragon! :) And I think Mason will be a Knight! :) Thanks again!
I love your comment about Jaren not realizing he lives on an island. He is surrounded by water. So funny!
Oh wow, that is such an awesome picture of the baptism in the ocean, love it!!
Celeste is the same way about water at the beach. "It's scary!" I keep trying to convince, her, but so far, no luck. Madelyn grew out of it, maybe these two little ones will, too...
