Family in Town!!!!! (Part 1)

My parents are visiting for 10 whole days!!! We made a trip to Costco and to our surprise there was a lot going on. They had a live band that played in and outside the store. They also had Tucan Sam and the Energizer Bunny walking around.
My brother Nathan jokes that my mom can out last the Energizer Bunny, now we have proof!
The boys loved the gifts that my parents brought them.
They gave Owen Legos, of course. He has actually been saving for this very set! Way to go Grandma and Grandpa!
Corbin loves crafts so he was super happy.
Jaren asks to watch Cars no less than 10 times a day (and no he doesn't get to that often). He was super excited to get Mac and Lightning McQueen.
Saturday my mom and I got a day off, compliments of Grandpa! First we went to visit on of my Mom's good friends that is serving with her husband as mission president. We had a wonderful time catching up with Susan Martineau and learning how the mission is run. Then my Mom and I went to Macaroni Grill for lunch! It was really yummy. And if that wasn't treat enough, we went home for 30 min to feed the boys and then we headed out again to attend a multi vendor craft fair. We got some cute things and enjoyed good company! Thanks Dad - the worlds best babysitter!
Yesterday we rode the ferry to Old San Juan.
Corbin decided to take a break while we were waiting for the trolley.
We toured El Morro, one of the two forts on the island.
The boys were ready to stand guard!

Grandpa and the boys.
It was super windy. Especially on the top of the fort. But we are Rick's College Alumnus and we are so used to it. Aren't we cute!
Peek-a-boo!
My parents in front of the light house.
The boys loved all the cannons.
Jaren and Grandpa hanging out!
What a cute couple!
We are on a cannon. (I cropped it out because of my white legs!)
Jaren was so excited to be out of the stroller he just about ran up the stairs!
We had a yummy lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. On the way back to the ferry there was a guy with parrots. Owen loved them, Corbin was scared to get near them, and Jaren thought they were funny!
My mom loved them too!
Grandpa was making Jaren laugh!
After a long fun filled day. . .

BUT. . . Owen and Corbin are still going strong!

Wow! YOu always have so many visitors! We want to come and see you guys too! We really wanted to come over Labor Day...but obviously that never worked out! I love all of the things you are able to do in Puerto Rico. Your family never seems to have a dull moment!

PS
We just got back from Disney World and they have Jedi training there! It was awesome! I think you guys need to seriously consider going to Disney World just so your boys can do the training! They give you robes to wear and light sabers (sp?) then they train you, then you fight off a real darth vador at the end and you get a diploma when you finish your training!
We totally thought of Owen, Corbin and Ethan Duffy when we saw this!

We'll see if they're still going strong tomorrow!!

How exciting to have your parents there. I'm glad we have both our parents at the same time visiting us. Have fun with them! And don't let the bed crash when they're sleeping. haha.
