The boys made gingerbread houses, although Jaren ended up eating his along the way. Nick and Owen decided to make FBI safe houses with gummy bear agents.

Corbin was born on New Year's Eve. We celebrated his birthday at a party we were invited to.

The adults played a fun game, while the kids did their own thing.

Being Silly. . .

3 Kings Day. . .

3 Kings Day is a big deal here. Most people have the day off. Instead of Santa Clause visiting your house in the middle of the night, the three wise men (a.k.a. "Kings") stop by your place on the way to visit the baby Jesus. (Please correct me if that is wrong.) So anyway, the kids gather grass for the wise men's camels and leave it out for when they stop by. They in turn leave gifts for the children.

The boys were in no way opposed to having another holiday that involved presents, even if it meant doing a little yard work.

Corbin received a playdoh fun set, Owen received a Star Wars action figure, and Jaren received a Mater car.

Fun with Friends. . .

We had some friends over the other day, and the boys had a blast. The youngest girl knows we have dressups and decided to bring some of her own, since we have only manly-man stuff, except for a super girl cape. She added some accessories: an army hat, a light saber, and of course, the super girl cape. Jaren wore the buzz lightyear outfit!
The other kids had fun playing the wii. I love how some of the kids take it seriously and some are just having fun!
