It has been raining a lot lately. One of the activities we did on a rainy night was wash and squeeze the grapefruit from our tree. Then Nick made some delicious juice!
Here are the boys washing them.

Here are the boys juicing them.
A couple weekends ago I finished the boys school Friday afternoon and put their books away for the weekend. Sunday afternoon we noticed a few ants on the desk where we keep their books on. We followed them and found practically a whole colony of ants under and inside the boys school books. We started throwing the books on the floor to clear off the self and spray it down. These (all the little specks) are just the ants that tried to escape all the books we threw down. (you may have to click on it to make it bigger) Gross!
Side Note: Their favorite subject seemed to be math.
Just for fun. . . or so we thought. . .
We took the boys to a Japanese restaurant called East. This picture is when our food arrived to be prepared in front of us.

The cooking begins along with fire, egg tossing, and loud sizzles. Apparently to Jaren, habachi grilling is right up there in danger with the beach. In the end we asked to be moved to a table in the main dining area.

Notice Jaren's face, he is starting to sense something isn't right.

Too bad you live too far away that my dad couldn't exterminate for you!
Jaren is getting so big!! I just read a lot of the "kids quotes", they crack me up!
I love the "Buddha" fountain! AWESOME! And that is super hilarious about Jaren at the restaurant. I kinda want to take my boys to Ah-So's here... but after your experience I don't think I'll spend money on that! ha!
Love all the fruit on your tree! looks delicious, bet the juice was fabulous.
Randomly Mike walks around smiling and I ask him whats up & he just grins and says how happy he is that bugs are not everywhere!
I love those restaurants!
Poor Jaren, I did have a good laugh at the piture of you trying to convince him that it was okay! :) Hey they have some pants on sale at mother hood maternity. none of them worked for me but they might for you. I bit the bullet and bought some shortd that actually fit right. Why is it that my normal pants fit fine on my legs and then are getting tight on my waist and all the maternity M are to tight for my legs and a L are way to big! AHHH drives me crazy:)!
We live in South FL and there are a lot of bugs here too. It looks like you guys are having a good time :) I love grape fruit.
Yum! I am so in love with grapefruit right now! So nice to have your very own tree. Darn ants. Such pesky little things.
Jaren is such a character. How fun!?!?! Hope all is well with you! Miss you!!
Yum...I want some fresh grapefruits:) I love reading about your adventures.
So with the Cricut...LOVE your story. Too funny. My boys know that I HATE Crickets so when I started talking about wanting a "Cricut" they would just laugh and say, No you don't mommy. You're silly. But now that I have it...James keeps asking me to cut out a cricket for him. He just doesn't get it:) Soo funny!
Ha! I Totally got the "tigger" song! I think I'll name my blog "All my boys and on girl!" ha! I don't know we'll cross that bridge when we get to it! :) If I'm anythin glike you I don't think I'll have to change my blog name! :)
