Christmas Eve we had our traditional Faler family party. Our family is getting so big that we had it in the relief society room of a church building. Owen was really looking forward to being Joseph in the nativity and took his role very seriously!
(Corbin and Joshua Ellsworth were shepards. Truman, Tanner and Parker Ward were the three kings. Abby Ellsworth and Madison Ward were angels. Owen and Amelia Ellsworth were Joseph and Mary. Noah Huber was baby Jesus. Not in the picture was Mason Huber and Amber Ward (shepards) and Cami Ellsworth (angel).)

Because we went to Arizona for two weeks during Christmas we celebrated Christmas at our house on the 21st. Santa was even kind enough to come early! This year we didn't have a Christmas tree. I was actually surprised that the boys didn't mind. Just before putting the boys to bed on the 20th our friends brought an edible tree as a gift. When the boys saw it they said excitedly, "That can be our Christmas tree!" Worked for me! Thank you Falks for the tree!

The boys got GIJOE action figures from Nick. Nick of course had them when he was a kid.

Jaren liked anything he could fit in his mouth!

We flew to Arizona on the 23rd. Our flight was delayed. Jaren was very active and only slept about 20 min of the 5+ hour flight. Owen threw up (luckily he is old enough to make it into the bag)! We were worn out when we landed, but grateful that we didn't have a screaming baby!
Christmas morning we asked the boys to get into their clothes before we went down stairs. Corbin (our boy that loves to stay in his jammies all day) refused to change. We told him that he couldn't open presents till he was dressed. He looked confused and said, "I already opened all my presents in New Jersey." We told him that Grandma and Grandpa probably had a present for him. He was in his clothes in no time!
The boys got Nacho Libre hoods from Grandma and Grandpa.
Don't Grandpa Winward and Owen look feirce!

I didn't realize this picture was tiped, oh well. Jaren was really cute to watch open presents. He would stop opening if anyone tried to help.

Aunt Haley made Jaren a really soft blanket. I even had fun cuddling in it!

That afternoon we went to Grandma and Grandpa Faler's. The boys gave Uncle Allen a nerf ball gun that came in handy later that week!

The boys got a new Lego set. Of course Uncle Nathan had to help put it together!

Christmas evening we played a game called Ticket to Ride. Nick won 3 of the 4 games he played over our vacation.

The day after Christmas Nick, Owen and Corbin along with the Winwards headed to Douglas. I stayed behind to spend time with my Grandparents and brother Allen who were visiting from Idaho and Utah.
Nick and Grandma Merrill.

The boys had a blast playing with their cousins from Texas. Corbin and the little girl, Kate quickly became great buddies!

Just before they left to head beck to Tempe they ate at a cafe that wasn't quiet ready for a group this big. It took an hour to get them their food and they even ran out of things!

The day they left I got a call from Wendy's in Benson telling me that Owen had left his jacket there. His name and number were in the jacket. Owen got a transformer hoody out of the trip! They had a great time in Douglas.
